Mobile phone sales will shrink next year at their fastest pace ever as consumers cut spending, a Reuters poll showed, with analysts increasingly concerned about unsold phones piling up in stores.

- I worked hard to make sure my credit was good enough to get a fixed 5.75% mortgage. Reset the mortgages to 4% for those of us with good payment history & equity, and 6-7% for those who are in bad loans.

- That's not true, O Judgemental One. My software is doing the same thing. I did NOT add it as income. I merely entered in the amount of the stimulus check when it asked me, and it immediately deducted that amount from my refund.

- Seems that medical/health issue are the foundation for many of the financial troubles - someone got sick, lost job or couldn't work, then began to default on mortgages, credit cards, etc. Jobs and single payer health care for all would go a long way to stabilizing our economy.

- My family is among those putting off the purchase of new cell phones. We're tired of the contracts - it would be nice to get a decent phone at a reasonable price without being locked into a 2-year commitment.
